We at the Dash’N Doxies house have had fun with conformation showing, field & den trials and occasionally breeding. We are breeders of miniature longhair Dachshunds exclusively.  Dachshunds are particularly smart in nature, they learn quickly the rewards of doing things right. Dachshunds are great companions and love to be a part of the household “pack”. Our first litter was bred in 1988, from which our first field champion “Allie” was born. Allie went on to train our other dogs in the field as well. Our first dog to gain den trial recognition was “Rhett” as well as gaining his AKC show championship title. These are versatile dogs and can be easy to find a new hobby with. Temperaments are very important to us in our breeding program. Happy smiley “faces-tails” is the easiest to live with and a joy to have around. We breed for good health, temperaments and show conformation. Every dog that is placed goes with a written contractual agreement for both the buyers and sellers complete satisfaction. Pet quality puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract to ensure the quality and the standard of the breed is not diminished.
